We finally got to see new judge Ellen DeGeneres in action.
Hollywood week is finally here and our new judge Ellen DeGeneres is in full swing.
Ellen is an American icon and almost overshadows Simon.
Andrew Garcia did a cool acoustic version of Paula Abdul’s “Straight Up” and the judges thought it was awesome. Paula would’ve spazed; and of course he made it through the first round.

Lots of others were less lucky and went home crying. But I’m not going to lie, I don’t know how some of these people GOT to Hollywood.
Haeley Vaughn, the one who wants to be the first black country-pop singer did a good job with her guitar. I’m very happy to report; she made it through this round.
Casey James, the one who took his shirt off for Victoria Beckham, was a better singer then he let on during his auditions. He and his guitar are going to stay in Hollywood.
A few people that I said would never make it past Hollywood week didn’t. Maybe I can take Simon’s soon to be empty chair?
Tomorrow night we will see who else should’ve never even have gotten to Hollywood.
